Lately, Lydia has been attempting to crawl. At least that's what I think she's doing. It's either that or she's doing push-ups.


Sometimes we lend a hand (or leg) to aid in her obsessive need for pumped up arms.

Sometimes it just becomes too hard.

Lydia's Eating Solids!

Lydia is doing something new...so of course we must document it by photograph and share it with the world! We're such proud parents. =) Here is Lydia's first food critique.


"I had heard nothing but rave reviews about this hip and up-and-coming place where adults like to eat called 'The Kitchen' so I decided to give it a try. I must admit, the way people talk about the food produced in this place got me very excited for my first bite. I just couldn't wait to try this new and exotic food called 'rice cereal.' I'm not so sure of their seating methods, however. Their policy of strapping in is a bit much for me."

"Well, the utensils certainly didn't impress. Maybe if you have a set of shiny teeth you would enjoy the feel of metal in your mouth. I, for one, think the owners of 'The Kitchen' could afford to splurge on some more 'gum-friendly' flatware."

"Well, it wasn't the BEST thing I've ever had. A little bland for my tastes, but overall a decent experience. I'll be back. I think 'The Kitchen' just wasn't quite ready for people like me. I'm sure they will be more accomodating the next time I stop by."

REBECCA'S PIANO BLOG!!!!!!!!!!

Yay.

I've been working on a piano blog for the past couple of weeks. I post daily about the ridiculous things that happen during piano lessons, as well as ridiculous ideas I have. Even if you know NOTHING about piano, it's a fun read (at least I think it is) because it's about kids. David Archuletta

So David Archuletta was in Murray this week. I had to teach a lesson, but Ryan took Lydia and walked down to the high school (along with the rest of Utah) to see ol' Davey Boy perform. Kind of fun!

Cousins

Lydia: "Well, I'll make up if she'll make up."
Caitlyn: "Yeah, I think that's best."
Cameron: "I don't even know what this is about anymore."

The Four Jeannes

Grandma Middleton and my mom were here for Women's Conference this weekend. Grandma, Mom, Lydia, and I all share the name Jeanne for our middle name. So we, of course, had to get a picture of all the Jeannes!
