Darren is off to preach the gospel in Columbus, Ohio. But first, he gets to be trained at the MTC. We had an emotional goodbye yesterday as we saw him off. There were plenty of tears, but even though we will miss him, we are so happy he has chosen to serve a mission.

Even though Darren fears baby spitup, he made an exception and held Lydia for one brief moment.

I will miss you, Darren.
We are so proud of you!

Go get 'em Elder Brown! It is wonderful to have a missionary in the field - even though we miss them terribly - it is such a blessing to hear their stories & experiences. Ty will be home in less than 6 wks!
I know, it was sad, I cried :( I am going to send a package before he leaves to the mtc
Congrats on the baby blessing! Most of my family still lives in the Columbus, Ohio area (Findlay to be exact). So if he comes across any Sauls...they're most likely related. :) - Kimberly (Saul)
I'm so sad I wasn't there to share in Lydia's special day. She looked so beautiful and happy. She's just like Rebecca who also wore a purple ribbon oh her white wedding dress. I love every picture. I know Darren will be a great missionery. He has such a great personality. I'm proud of him too. See you soon!!
Kimberly Saul, if you read this, invite me to visit your blog please
Great pictures of Darren and your parents. What an awesome missionary he will be!!!

Brings tears to my eyes, I think I am just emotional tonight - to think of saying the MTC good-bye but oh the blessings your family will begin receiving!!!!

Wow, you got a pic of the missionary name tag, dork dot and all! Nice. I can't believe how much more he looks like Troy now. But then again, you guys all look alike.
