We are about to take our very first plane ride with this little munchkin.
We need tips from all you seasoned baby travellers! Lydia is 10 months old, does NOT fall asleep in arms, and ALWAYS wants to be down and moving! We have some toys she's never seen before and some treats. Any other fabulous tips for us? And does anybody know if they will let you bring a sippy cup on the planes now?

Yes you can bring a sippy cup on the plane, it just can't have liquid in it when you go through security, so you either have to buy something when you get through or get something on the plane to fill it up. As far as things to do, hopefully it isn't too long a flight for you guys, would she watch a movie at all, we usually bring our laptop but the battery doesn't last too long. Also the pressure from take off and landing can hurt her ears, i have heard sucking or chewing on something helps the kiddos, just the same way chewing gum helps so that might be a good time to give her some snacks. I think the new toys and maybe some books you can read her would be great! Good luck and have a fun trip!
I was so worried about Savannah, and she was a gem...so, maybe you will have the same luck.
I think that you have got the bases covered.
Plane rides with babies can be awful! My kids always fall asleep during take off. Something about it puts them out. As for the awake part...Bring some snacks...books...toys...we will pray for you!
Oh man. We are flying w/ our 9 month old tomorrow, but lucky for us she loves to BE IN and SLEEP ON laps.
Got a portable DVD player? That helps too ...
Good luck!
Just know that she is about at the hardest age for traveling you will ever experience... too old and mobile to want be held that lond and too short of an attention span. Good luck! Be sure to pack a variety of entertainment and snacks!
It depends what airline u fly... Delta let's you carry no more than 10 oz of fluid through security now. I can't help much with the rest, good luck!!!!
